About the Role:

We are representing a distinguished client in the consumer goods industry, renowned for their innovative processes and strong market presence. Led by an impressive CEO and CFO, our client is embarking on an exciting transformation journey and is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Commercial Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Role Overview:

A strategic finance leadership role. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will provide critical financial partnership to key business functions while developing and maintaining long-term financial planning models to support organisational growth

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner category development team initiatives to optimise their product range.
- Drive revenue growth strategies with sales to enhance market performance.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure cost-saving efficiencies in operations.
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of two Finance Business Partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure collaboration and alignment.
- Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- CA/CPA or Equivelant
- Strong experience in a commercial finance partnering sales role within FMCG.
- Strategic thinking skills with a proven track record of driving business growth.
- Excellent leadership abilities and experience managing high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of category, revenue growth and supply chain finance partnering.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Proficiency in data analysis and strong financial skills to support strategic decisions.
