Our Clayton care home is set within a lively community 25km from the CBD, surrounded by a hospital, supermarket, and schools. It consists of 155 beds, with a variety of care types. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

- Whilst working shifts as a Carer – Care Companionship, you will bring a “Person First” approach in care planning and assisting our new residents and their families with the process of settling into the home and transitioning into an aged care setting.
- You will coordinate the admissions and respond to and assist with queries and concerns from the residents and their family members.
- You will advise new residents of additional services that are on offer and ensure services are delivered.
- You will complete meal service with the new residents as part of settling in by escorting them to the dining room and ensure they know how the meal service works.
- We’re always looking for ways to improve, and you’ll be playing a pivotal role in the pursuit of best-quality outcomes for much loved and valued residents.

What will you bring?
- Min Certificate 3 qualification in either; Ageing, Individual Support, Care or Disability
- A passion and energy for world class care
- Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and delegate effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of Resident Rights, and Aged Care Accreditation Standards and their Outcomes
