You'll support your manager, Partner, and the wider team, as they seek to provide exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.This role is based in our state of the art, central Sydney office.Key responsibilities will include:* Supervise, coach, and delegate work to juniors in your team, promoting an environment of collaboration and teamwork* Coordinate with your team leader on the various phases of an engagement, assisting manager and partner with business performance, structuring, wealth, and asset protection engagements* Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs* Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports for Australian audited trusts* Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives**About you*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce, and either studying or have completed CA or CPA* Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in Australian public practice* Exposure to large business structures, and complex and diverse engagements* Good understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, FBT and SMSFs* Exposure to and understanding of interest rate swaps and derivative swaps* Experience in supervising and delegating work to junior staff* Strong communication and problem-solving skills**How we work**Our unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours, Stretch, Own it, Make an impact which drive our approach of day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients, the way we approach decision-making to the questions we ask and the problems we solve.**Employee benefits*** Work from anywhere in Australia for up to one month each year* An annual allowance to empower you to prioritise your personal wellbeing* Study support and commitment to supporting professional development**Diversity and inclusion*** Strong commitment to all aspects of Diversity and Inclusion through a robust 7 pillar strategy* A growing number of employee-led networks who work to raise awareness and drive continued change* We support over 50 First Nations Communities, helping to secure the communities' future.
