Carpenters/Roofers

We’re currently looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll install, repair and maintain roof Structures/Framing. You’ll need to be able to read and follow technical drawings, work to Australian standards, and get the job done safely and efficiently alongside the rest of the crew.

Task & Responsibilities

- Install, repair and maintain roofing structures, timber frameworks, trusses, flashings and stormwater systems
- Measure, cut and fit timber, roofing sheets, tiles and other materials to ensure proper alignment and water run-off
- Troubleshoot and fix structural defects on-site
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications accurately
- Operate carpentry and roofing tools, including hand and power tools, safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building regulations and quality codes
- Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, finish and presentation on every job

Qualification & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Carpenter
- Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification) highly desirable
- Sound knowledge of carpentry and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings
- White Card and Working at Heights certificate preferred
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety and compliance
