What you will be doing:

- Lead the night shift team to deliver consistent, high-quality operational outcomes

- Ensure all freight handling and coordination activities meet service standards and deadlines

- Act as the go‑to contact for resolving issues and maintaining smooth shift operations

- Foster a collaborative team culture built on respect, support, and shared goals

- Communicate clearly across departments to ensure seamless handovers and coordination

- Promote teamwork and inclusivity, encouraging input from all team members

- Motivate the team with energy and purpose to meet nightly targets

- Take pride in maintaining a productive, organized, and high‑performing work environment

- Lead by example with a hands‑on approach and a commitment to excellence

- Uphold all safety procedures, company policies, and compliance standards

- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting to support operational transparency

- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and ethical leadership in every shift

- Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements for greater efficiency

- Encourage a proactive mindset and continuous learning within the team

- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational challenges

- Champion a safe, clean, and hazard‑free workplace for all team members

- Support individual development through coaching and constructive feedback

- Show genuine concern for team wellbeing and morale during night operations

Qualifications

- Previous Leadership experience desirable in the transport industry

- A proactive, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving

- Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction

- Hold a current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift

- Commitment to complete Criminal History check upon success

- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Test
