Job Description

As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will manage and develop client relationships, provide expert advice on complex tax matters, and support the professional growth of your team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, maintain, and develop a portfolio of clients, understanding their net wealth, goals, and risk profiles.

- Deliver expert tax compliance and advisory services, including tax planning, business structures, and systems.

- Review and manage job budgets, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.

- Mentor, coach, and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

- Prepare and review billing, manage debtors, and analyse fee efficiency.

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (essential).

- Ideally 5+ years’ experience in Public Practice, with a strong background in tax advisory and compliance.

- Advanced knowledge of Australian tax law, corporate, partnership, trust, and high-net-worth individual taxation matters.

- Demonstrated ability to translate complex tax issues into clear, client-friendly advice.

- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex transactions and legislation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the focus on delivering exceptional client service.
