Role and Availability

We are offering multiple casual and permanent part-time opportunities for Support Services Staff, including cleaning, laundry, and kitchen hands to join our wonderful facility based in Yackandandah, VIC.

Role Details

Role Overview: We are offering multiple casual and permanent part-time opportunities for Support Services Staff, including cleaning, laundry, and kitchen hands.

What you will do (Cleaning & Laundry)

- Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards

- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areas

- Cleaning communal and dining areas

- Cleaning and sorting laundry

- Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use

- Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules

- Completing required documentation and reporting

- Ad hoc support to the broader team as required

What you will bring

- Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (desirable)

- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

- Hold NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
