Position Overview

Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared and beautifully presented food. As the Bartender you will provide supportive functional assistance to the Restaurant and Bar team; lead seamless guest experience and provide support to colleagues within the department. You may be required to supervise other Food & Beverage outlets as requested.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of engaging, memorable guest experiences through high-quality cocktails, personalised recommendations, and attentive service.
- Be knowledgeable about the cocktail list, wine selection, and overall drinks menu to drive guest satisfaction.
- Support the daily operations of the bar, including setting up the bar, preparing mise en place, and ensuring team members are ready for service.
- Uphold brand standards, service procedures, and safety regulations through leading by example and sharing best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture through effective communication with colleagues and other departments.
- Ensure responsible and accurate cash handling, including float sign-out, end-of-shift reconciliation, and tip management.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including RSA guidelines, WHS policies, and safe bar operations.
- Champion sustainability practices behind the bar, including minimising waste and promoting energy-saving habits.
