Technical Expertise for ANZ Markets

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support our Sales Executives in the ANZ region. This is a field-based role that requires strong technical knowledge of genomics and NGS workflows, as well as commercial acumen.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SOPHiA GENETICS' products and applications, including AI SaaS Solutions for managing and interpreting NGS biomarkers and laboratory preparation.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will be comfortable communicating complex concepts to both commercial and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales Executives to drive sales opportunities
  • Deliver platform demonstrations and presentations to customers
  • Provide expert knowledge on SOPHiA GENETICS products and applications
  • Gather and share competitive market intelligence

Requirements:

  • BSc, MSc or PHD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology, or similar
  • Previous experience in Commercial Technical support roles linked to Genomics
  • Localised knowledge of the ANZ Healthcare system/Diagnostic market
  • Direct experience with NGS Workflow products
  • Fluency in English
