For Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Risk Analyst to assess and mitigate risks for our client in government services. A Contract Full-Time role within a dynamic and innovative environment.

- Requires: Extensive experience with risk and information security frameworks.
- Salary guide: $108 - $160 per hour.
- Location: Canberra.

Your normal day will involve:

- Identify, test and assess applicable security controls in line with the Australian Government PSPF, ISM and agency policies.
- Analyze and document security risks, recommending treatments and modifications to security practices.
- Contribute to the system authorisation program by developing or reviewing security artefacts.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Continuously improve the efficiency of the cyber security service.
- Educate departmental staff on cyber security measures.

This Cyber Security Analyst role is fundamental in undertaking cyber risk assessments and ensuring compliance with the Protective Security Policy Framework. You will work closely with stakeholders, helping them understand essential security concepts, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of cyber services.
