About our Opportunity

As the Production Scheduler for our Stegbar Pooraka manufacturing site, you will plan and schedule work based on our manufacturing capacity ensuring fluid production, resources are efficiently used and our customers commitments are met. This includes preparing daily production schedules based on product capacity as well as arranging delivery runs by liaising directly with our customers.

You will be apart of a professional team where customer service is at the forefront of every interaction. In this fast paced role, you will need to be confident with customer interactions, at times managing difficult conversations troubleshooting solutions with respect to production constraints and timings to improve the customer experience and to meet the requirements of the customer.

In addition, you’ll:

- maintain production schedules, ensuring timely order completion based on customer demand, material availability and capacity constraints.
- work in partnership with customers, sales, production and logistics for any order related matters by providing support and resolving issues as they arise
- address capacity issues communicating lead-time changes

About You

This role will suit someone who has experience with production scheduling. However we would be open to considering someone who has customer service and administration skills within a building material manufacturing environment or previous rostering or scheduling experience, along with a keenness to learn and a good attitude to participate in our extensive training.

You need to be someone who is agile, methodical with highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the needs of our builder customers, at times being assertive. You'll need to be pragmatic in your approach to providing quality customer service with capability in lateral thinking when resolving problems when they arise.

You must be/have:

- highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise multiple tasks
- ability to work calmly and efficiently with tight deadlines
- enthusiasm to work in a rapidly changing & challenging manufacturing environment
- data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- competency using MS Suite, ability to quickly gain competency with in-house systems
