Gas Fitter – Fault Response

ATCO is transforming the global energy landscape and fostering a sustainable future. This role is part of the Metro Faults Response Team and involves working in the gas distribution network with a focus on customer service, safety and collaboration.

What you will do:

- Undertake Faults and Emergency Response activities, Residential and Commercial meter changes, Reconnects/Disconnects, Leak Detection, including maintenance and meter compliance, associated with the Gas Distribution Network.
- Operate machinery, equipment and tools in accordance with the relevant Policies and Procedures.
- Liaise with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that any disruption to supply or work impacting customers is fully communicated and, where possible, minimised.
- Participate in the 24/7 On Call Roster at nominated intervals throughout the business cycle.
- Undertake safe work practices and requirements to ATCO Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and foster relationships with other networks and alliances with relevant contractors, stakeholders and customers.

What you will bring:

- Energy Safety Class G Gas fitting licence and a current C class driver7s licence.
- Experience and knowledge of installation and maintenance of gas appliances.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members of the general public, our contractors and our community.
