TWS are Tasmania’s largest injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation provider, providing services unique to the local Tasmanian community.

Our organization is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, driven and experienced allied health professional with a passion for injury management and workplace rehabilitation to join our team in Launceston. We are open either an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Nurse, Rehab Counsellor or Psychologist.

This opportunity is perfect if you are looking for a position with plenty of variety, autonomy, and flexible working hours. This role is a remote based role however you will need to visit your clients as required who will be based around the Launceston area.

You will deliver holistic, client centred services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and allied health background, you will be an integral part of assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community, improving their wellbeing and purpose in life.

Responsibilities

- Workplace rehabilitation services in line with your scope of practice, such as:

- Initial Needs Assessments

- Workplace Assessments

- Advice concerning job modifications

- Rehabilitation Counselling/Vocational Assessments

- ADL assessments

- Medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison and case management services

- Support needs assessments

Qualifications

- Full registration with AHPRA or Full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA in line with your discipline

- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills

- A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done

- Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance

- Current Australian driver's license and vehicle

- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways

- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
