We are in the market for an experienced and qualifiedprofessional Manager People Services; you are passionate about yourprofession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.

Are you an experienced HR leader passionate about shapingorganisational culture and workforce capability? The City ofMandurah is seeking a Manager People Services to lead our People& Culture team and drive the delivery of strategic humanresources and work health and safety initiatives.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will:

- Work with your team to develop, deliver and implement the City’s human resources framework, ensuring best practice in human resources, industrial relations, and work health and safety advice across the organisation.
- Work with the Executive Leadership Team to drive the Cityof Mandurah Workforce Plan to strengthen organisational capability, capacity, and culture.
- Lead the provision of high-quality service delivery for our community, through the recruitment and development of a skilled workforce.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with significant HRleadership experience, strong knowledge of employment legislation,and a proven ability to lead organisational change. This is anexciting opportunity to help shape the future of Mandurah bymaximising the potential of our people.

Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or relateddiscipline
- Significant experience as a leader within Human Resourcesand Organisational Development
- Extensive knowledge of employment legislation andregulations and thorough knowledge of human resource managementand industrial relations principles and best practices.
- Significant experience in developing and delivering WHSstrategies and plans
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of current strategictrends and issues affecting the core functions of the role,ideally within a local government context, with significantexperience in leading change and developing organisationalcapability.
- Experience dealing with complex, cross-organisationalmatters and leveraging data/information as evidence fordecision-making.
