8 VENTURE PTY LTD, a reputable construction company based in Western Australia, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our growing team on a full-time basis. We specialise in residential and commercial building projects across Perth and surrounding suburbs, delivering high-quality results with attention to safety, precision, and durability.

We are looking for someone who is committed, reliable, and able to work independently or within a team to complete bricklaying duties on new constructions, renovations, and structural repairs.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bricklaying in Australia business.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety and compliance procedures.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor environments under varied conditions.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to commit to full-time ongoing employment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- English communication skills sufficient for workplace safety and coordination.
- Willingness to travel to different job sites across the Perth metro area if required.

Your responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and materials required.
- Apply damp-resistant materials to foundations as required to ensure structural durability and compliance.
- Spread mortar on work surfaces and bricks to serve as a base and binder for laying.
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or paving materials to build or repair walls, partitions, arches, chimneys, and other structures.
- Embed bricks in mortar, remove excess mortar, and ensure clean, consistent joints.
- Cut bricks using hand or power tools to fit specific measurements and structural requirements.
- Check work using levels, plumb lines, and straightedges to ensure proper alignment and finish.
- Repair and maintain existing brickwork and masonry structures.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean, safe worksite.
