8th Grade ELA Teacher
Job Description
Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of 8th Grade ELA teacher. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated member of the Middle School team. The 8th grade ELA will have access to a full curriculum through Common Lit, and have the ability to creatively prepare lessons for an intervention period. RACS is a small school community with opportunities for both leadership and mentoring support.
Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program.Salary will be calculated based on possession of certification, years of experience, and possession of a Master's Degree.
