Glasshouse Christian College is seeking a mature motivated person to be the driver on our Scheduled School Service. The successful applicant will be available to start as soon as possible.
Employment Classification: The position shall be continuing part-time during term-time.
Hours of work: The hours of work shall be approximately 3 or 4 hours per school day (divided between a morning shift and an afternoon shift) or 15 or 20 hours per week. The successful applicant will also need to be on call during the week to drive for school excursions and camps.
To be eligible to work as one of our bus drivers, you need:
- To hold an unrestricted (not automatic) clean MR licence and Queensland Driver Authorisation.
- To possess a Queensland Working with Children (Blue) Card and Senior First Aid Certificate.
- The ability to relate to children and young people and strong sympathy with the Christian ethos of the College.
- To be over 25 years of age (insurance requirement) with a minimum of two years experience driving full-size buses in the Sunshine Coast Region.
- To be comfortable with city driving and wearing a Corporate Uniform.
- Intermediate IT Skills.
