About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join on an initial 12 months fixed-term contract in Adelaide. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver critical infrastructure and networking projects for a well-established organization.

As the IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will lead multiple small to mid-sized projects as well as larger initiatives, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion. You will be at the forefront of transforming the IT infrastructure and networking landscape, managing upgrades, migrations and implementations to align with the organization's strategic goals.

This role will require you to work closely with diverse teams, including internal stakeholders, technical experts and external vendors, to ensure that all projects meet their objectives, are delivered on time and adhere to budgetary constraints. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and networking projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget.

- Manage multiple small to mid-sized projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities effectively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors to define project requirements and objectives.

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and documentation, including risk management and mitigation strategies.

- Oversee hardware, software, networking and cloud infrastructure upgrades, migrations and implementations.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for IT infrastructure, networking and security.

- Manage project resources and budgets, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

- Act as a primary point of contact for all project-related activities, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

Skills and Expertise:

Project Management Excellence: Strong experience in managing all aspects of projects, including:

- Defining, maintaining and controlling the project's boundaries and deliverables.

- Budget planning, tracking and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

- Meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

- Guiding and motivating the project team to achieve success.

- Allocating and optimizing resources to ensure project efficiency.

- Effectively engaging and managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, preferably in large-scale or multi-project environments.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking technologies, including networks, servers, cloud computing and virtualization.

- Demonstrated experience in managing networking projects, such as LAN/WAN upgrades, firewall implementations, or network optimizations.

- Exceptional project management skills with experience using frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall hybrid methodologies.

- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges effectively.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
