The Great Southern Hotel Melbourne seeks an experienced Handyperson on a casual basis to join our team.
About the Role:- General maintenance activities for the upkeep of the Hotel to high standards
- General plumbing, carpentry, grouting, painting and much more
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Flexible and available for a weekly rotating roster shift, 12:00PM-8:00PM preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of similar general maintenance positions
- Committed to providing extraordinary service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and articulate in the job
- Supportive team environment
- Ongoing training and development of skills
- High occupancy and consistent shifts
- Short walk from Southern Cross Station
- Opportunity to work for a different branch if relocated
