This role involves supporting the workshop team with mechanical tasks, assisting tradespeople on the floor, and carrying out any excess equipment movements that the current driver cannot handle. Occasional B Double driving may be required.**What We Offer:*** Full-time permanent role with consistent hours* Monday – Friday, 12hrs/day, 6:00am – 6:00pm* $40.39/hour plus 15% superannuation* Opportunity to work with a dynamic team across multiple sites* Exposure to a variety of vehicles, equipment, and mechanical tasks**Key Responsibilities:*** Assist with mechanical repairs (diesel & petrol) under the direction of the Team Leader* Pick up and deliver vehicles, equipment, and parts as required* Yard movements of heavy vehicles, including rigid trucks, prime movers, and trailers* Maintain workshop and equipment cleanliness and organisation* Perform weekly/monthly vehicle and equipment checks* Maintain accurate job cards and records* Follow all OHS procedures and participate in safety programs**Skills & Attributes:*** Strong mechanical knowledge and workshop experience* Excellent communication and teamwork skills* Ability to work independently and follow instructions* Well-organised, motivated, and safety-conscious**Qualifications & Licences:*** Minimum HC Driver Licence (B Double / MC advantageous)* Forklift Licence preferred* White Card (preferred)**About Team Global Express**Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
