About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy cheese shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a genuine passion for fine food and cheese.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Oversee inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.

Monitor financial performance, including budgets, sales targets, and cost control.

Develop and implement marketing or promotional initiatives in collaboration with management.

Maintain a high standard of product knowledge and presentation.

Skills and Experience

Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within retail or hospitality.

Strong knowledge of cheese, deli products, or gourmet food (preferred).

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Proven ability to lead a team and manage day-to-day operations.

Competence in POS systems and basic business administration.

Qualifications

A Diploma in Business, Retail, or Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience).
