Council of the City of Sydney, Australia ING Group Full time

We’re known for being a bit different, that orange bank. But don’t mistake that for casual. We’re serious about helping our customers live their best lives and chase their dreams.

We’re on the hunt for two Marketing Managers to join our Product and Customer Marketing team on 6‑month contracts—one focused on Projects, and the other covering Daily Banking during parental leave.

These roles are pivotal in delivering high‑impact marketing initiatives across the Retail Bank. Whether you’re orchestrating product‑agnostic campaigns like KYC, T&Cs, and CX enhancements, or leading go‑to‑market strategy for our Daily Banking portfolio, you’ll be driving measurable outcomes with a customer‑first mindset.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Digital, Brand, Legal, and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns that are bold, compliant, and unmistakably ING.

Ready to make an impact?

What you’ll do

Marketing Manager – Projects (6‑month contract)

- Lead flawless execution of product‑agnostic initiatives including KYC, T&Cs, Notices of Change, and remediation communications.

- Manage cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Digital, Brand, Contact Centre, and external agencies.

- Ensure compliance and regulatory controls are met, with audit‑ready documentation and approvals.

- Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and campaign performance to deliver on time and on budget.

Marketing Manager – Daily Banking (6‑month parental cover)

- Develop go‑to‑market strategy and integrated campaigns for the Daily Banking portfolio.

- Translate customer insights and product features into compelling, customer‑first messaging.

- Coordinate multi‑channel marketing across owned, paid, and earned media to drive engagement.

- Optimise campaign performance using data, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

- Strategic mindset with the ability to turn customer and market insights into compelling value propositions and marketing strategies.

- Creative communicator who can craft clear, customer‑first messaging and bring the ING brand to life across campaigns.

- Strong project and campaign management skills, with experience delivering initiatives on time, on budget, and in compliance.

- Data‑driven decision maker, confident using experimentation, analytics, and performance metrics to optimise outcomes.

- Excellent collaborator and influencer, skilled at aligning cross‑functional teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services marketing or agency roles, with a focus on integrated product marketing.

What’s in it for you?

- Discounted ING Health Insurance

- An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing

- An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
