Job Description

About You

You’re an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist with strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to client-centred supports. You thrive in multidisciplinary teams, lead by example, and support others through supervision and mentoring. You are flexible and responsive to the needs of staff and clients. Your everyday actions are guided by your strong values, including integrity, empathy and inclusiveness.

About the Role

As an experienced Speech Pathologist at Novita, you will:

- Manage a diverse and complex caseload, delivering evidence-based assessments and tailored programs of support

- Provide clinical leadership by supervising entry and early career staff and supporting their professional development

- Lead by example in the delivery evidence-based, client-centred therapeutic supports

- Contribute to service innovation within your own caseload and across the whole organisation by developing community-based programs and enhancing service delivery

- Actively participate in service planning, client reviews, and multidisciplinary decision-making

- Work closely with other senior clinicians, team leaders and clinical leads to support positive team culture and improve service delivery

Desired Skills and Experience

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology

- Must be a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia or working towards this status within the first 12 months of employment at Novita

- CurrentNDIS Worker CheckandSA Working with Children Check(must be completed before starting)

- Child Safe Environments training (Through Your Eyes)

- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You

- A current, valid Driver’s licence
