Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation.
Drummond Memorial Public School serves 230 students across various educational settings. The school offers 10 mainstream classes catering to students from Kindergarten to Year 6, along with two Multi-Categorical classes, a Tutorial Centre (ATLC), a Suspension Centre (Karayuna), and an Early Intervention class.
Our school is committed to enhancing student learning and wellbeing through thoughtfully designed programs. We strongly emphasise Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and implement evidence-informed literacy programming.
Position Information
This position is a permanent part-time position (3-days per week).
Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Infants & Primary library, or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
- Demonstrated capacity to teach students how to access and utilise information and provide them with quality literary experiences.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organised, resourceful and can manage and implement a stimulating library learning environment.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
A permanent part time teacher for 3 days per week 0.6FTE (Full-time equivalent) vacancy exists at Drummond Memorial Public School.
