About the company Hallam Truck Centre flies the PACCAR flag in southeast Melbourne and Victoria. As part of the CMV Group, we are accredited Kenworth and DAF dealers, supporting sales, service and parts plus PacLease Rental and Leasing. About the role An exciting opportunity for a full time PARTS ADMINISTRATOR to join our team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring clerical accuracy with parts orders and parts stock holdings are maintained. Responsibilities - Assist the Parts Manager in the coordination of obsolescent stock returns and consignment branch stock - Monitor back orders from suppliers, process credits and warranty returns - Assist the Parts Interpreters in finding out the actual delivery times of parts which they have ordered - Create orders for purchases and process invoices using the Dealer Management System - Provide assistance in stock maintenance - Prepare supplier invoices for payment - Assist in the coordination of the annual and rolling stocktakes - Daily receipting of parts into stock - Coordinate parts specials and assist with marketing as required Skills & Experience - Excellent attention to detail - Knowledge of parts operations would be an advantage - High level of computer literacy - Strong interpersonal and communication skills including telephone skills - Sound written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills - Friendly and positive attitude - Familiarity with parts inventory systems - Experience in automotive industry would be an advantage but not essential - Ongoing training and development giving you the opportunity to build a long and successful career in the industry - Onsite state of the art Gym - Onsite parking - Work with iconic & reputable brands - Supportive & experienced leadership team - Opportunities to support community partnerships with our Group CMV Foundation - Enjoy annual company dinners and picnics - Improve your wellbeing with our CMV Care platform including access to income and health insurance programs as well as free monthly onsite Myotherapy treatments Apply At Hallam Truck Centre, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
