Australian Christian College (ACC) is a non-denominational, Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish into their full potential, and be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC Hume, is located at Benalla (2hrs north of Melbourne), and is a P-8, co-ed, Christian school with an onsite Early Learning Centre. Secondary year groups are being added each year until P-12 is catered for.

About the role We are seeking applications from qualified VCE Biology teachers to join our committed Christian team of educators. This full-time position is expected to start January 2025. Open to negotiation with the successful candidate.

About you

- You are currently registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- You have suitable qualifications.
- You have experience teaching Years 10-12
- You possess a capacity and willingness to work with others to devise strategies that help improve student learning.
- You’re committed to displaying excellent teaching as described in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- You’re willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
- You’re passionate about building grit and rigour in the lives of young people.
- You’re excited about our vision and will add value to our staff and community culture.
- You have an active Christian faith.
- You hold a valid and current WWCC.
