The Opportunity

An exciting Opportunity has become available for a Product Marketing Manager to join our APAC regional marketing team in Macquarie Park. This role will be responsible for increasing the awareness and acceptance of upgrades among Cochlear implant recipients and professionals across the APAC region. Reporting to the Director - Product Marketing and Upgrades, you will collaborate closely with Global and Local teams across the APAC region to help Cochlear achieve our mission of helping people hear and be heard.

Your responsibilities include:

- Support the development, implement, and champion the upgrade marketing strategy
- Analyse the recipient journey and upgrade performance to prioritise key upgrade opportunities, recommend strategies and initiatives and develop marketing objectives and campaigns
- Create and implement campaign strategies to target recipients with legacy and older-generation devices
- Partner with country leads to understand the constraints of upgrades growth and develop, execute and monitor multi-channel marketing and engagement
- Develop and execute the short-term and mid-term APAC marketing communication strategies targeted at recipients
- Champion the e-commerce platform for APAC to deliver accessory campaigns
- Analyse data to determine/identify profitability segments and customer engagement

About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Minimum:

- Graduate qualifications in marketing, business or related degree
- Extensive experience in product management or marketing
- Solid analytical skills with ability to derive strategic decisions based on data and facts
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to influence others (internal and external stakeholders) through credible actions
- Achievement-oriented with good attention to detail
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects
- Enthusiasm and initiative – willingness and ambition to go above and beyond what’s required
- Cultural sensitivity and the flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally
- Achievement oriented with a strong attention to detail

Ideal:

- Product management or marketing experience in pharmaceuticals/life sciences/medical device industry
- Language skills in Mandarin or Japanese
