Job Title: General Practitioner - Cassowary Coast QLD

Practice Information:
This organisation delivers Primary Health Care to the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities with outreach clinics in Innisfail, Babinda, Tully, and Ravenshoe along with a New Directions Mums & Bubs Program. They have approximately 4000 clients within their service geographical area and would love to have you join their team. Included in delivering services to clients they provide Allied Health Care such as Psychologist, Dietitians, Podiatrist, and Chronic Care etc. The practice is AGPAL Accredited and their current Patient Information Records System (PIRS) is Communicare. Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 and Friday 8.30 to 3.00pm with no weekend work required.

Position Description:
The purpose of the General Practitioner is to provide culturally appropriate and comprehensive primary health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and promote and support the improvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Communicare experience
- Previous experience working within a similar community-led organisation
- FRACGP/FACRRM registration

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time (38 hours per week)

Salary Information: $320,000 – $380,000 per annum.

The Cassowary Coast has a population of approximately 30,000 with Innisfail uniquely situated at the junction of the North and South Johnstone Rivers, about 5 km from the coast.
