Now we’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the way on design integrity, safety, and compliance for our growing C&I (Commercial & Industrial) battery systems.

You’ll work hands‑on with R&D, testing, and production to make sure every system we build is safe, practical, and beautifully engineered.

What you’ll take ownership of

- Guiding system design and build decisions through strong electrical knowledge and compliance insight

- Translating AS/NZS standards into clear, workable guidance for engineering and manufacturing teams

- Running live testing and validation on active systems

- Acting as RedEarth’s QTP, holding the company’s electrical licence (or working toward it)

- Partnering with R&D to develop, test, and refine new products and containerised systems

- Supporting major C&I projects from design to commissioning

What you bring

- Licensed electrician or degree‑qualified electrical engineer with 10+ years’ experience

- Deep understanding of Australian electrical and safety standards (AS/NZS 3000, 5139, 4777)

- Experience in renewable, battery, or high‑voltage systems

- Practical, hands‑on approach to testing, compliance, and design

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
