The Role

You will:

- Run a diverse and sensitive file load of abuse law matters from end to end
- Act for survivors of abuse in civil claims, redress processes, and systemic matters
- Occasionally advise institutional clients in defence (where appropriate)
- Draft advices, pleadings, and court documents
- Appear at directions hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Collaborate with a close-knit, high-calibre team
- Support strategic litigation and systemic reform initiatives

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit lawyers with 2+ years PQE, but the firm is also open to appointing a Special Counsel who would step into a leadership role managing a team and shaping strategy.
