**The Opportunity**
The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences at Monash University is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to join our dynamic research team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects within a prestigious academic institution known for its excellence in healthcare education and research.
The Research Fellow will work with members of Cochrane Australia and the Australian Living Evidence Consortium teams to use living evidence synthesis methods to identify, screen, appraise, and synthesise evidence to inform living evidence summaries that underpin living guidelines.
Cochrane Australia is one of 50 centres worldwide that coordinate the activities of Cochrane at national and regional levels. Cochrane Australia promotes the use of evidence in healthcare decision-making and supports contributors to Cochrane, and others, who want to produce independent, high-quality evidence in the form of systematic reviews, guidelines and other research syntheses.
You will be responsible for conducting research and producing conference papers and publications based on that research. You will also supervise research-support staff involved in your research, provide guidance to junior members of research-only academic staff in your research area, and contribute to the preparation of research proposal submissions to external funding bodies, either individually or in collaboration with others as appropriate.
