Junior Buyer

Our people are the heart and soul of our business. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our **Team at Innovations.**

**THE ROLE**:
Junior Buyer is responsible for the strategic planning to maximise the product category/brand and ensure the growth and profitability of the category through strong market understanding, insightful product selection and development to successful delivery of promotional campaigns under the guidance of the Category Manager.

**KEY AREAS OF FOCUS**:

- Manage end to end category performance to deliver budgeted Sales and Margin growth
- Conduct annual range reviews to ensure that budgeted financial plans can be delivered
- Introduce new product categories to deliver new customer acquisition opportunities and drive sales retention from our existing customer base
- Source new ranges within existing product categories to drive sales and margin growth
- Manage product life cycle to reduce aged inventory, increase stock turns and increase in stock levels
- Plan and deliver annual campaign program across all channels
- Participate in product review meetings to present products for company purchase.
- Co-ordinate product training and support for internal and external customers.
- All administration and follow through on all sales results

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- 2 - 3years experience is similar roles
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
- Professional attitude and work ethic
- Highly organised, with a flexible ‘Can Do’ approach
- Detail oriented and driven by deadlines
- A great team player
- A hunger for learning
