**A bit about the role...**

The primary purpose of this position is to support the BUSY Ability Disability Employment Service (DES) program and the BUSY Ability General Manager to develop, manage and oversee the successful delivery of BUSY Ability’s Disability Employment Services contract, promote and develop high performance through effective team management, ensuring jobseekers, clients and stakeholders receive quality service provision, while ensuring that BUSY Ability exceeds Government, CoAct and statutory body key performance indicators and contractual obligations.

Business objectives are focused on the requirement to meet performance, profitability and operational compliance goals for the Disability Employment Service (DES) contracts. This position will ensure that strategies are put in place that meet BUSY’s financial and performance requirements whilst maintaining a high level of contractual compliance.

So, what does an everyday look like?
- Supporting the Company to prepare for related Government tenders including, but not limited to, future iterations of current contracts.
- Actively participate as a member of the BUSY Ability leadership team in identifying and leading the implementation of business strategies and activities
- Oversee and manage the operations of the BUSY Ability’s Disability Employment Services program, and advise on strategic direction through operational initiatives
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant senior clients and stakeholders
- Ensure that all Direct Reporting Managers are working within the requirements of BUSY Ability’s business plans, and within Australian and State Government requirements
- Lead and ensure the successful operation of BUSY Ability’s Disability Employment

This position is full-time, fixed-term role until June 2025, based from Southport but not limited to this location.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**A bit about your experience**
- 3 years’ experience within the Disability and/ or Employment Services industry
- Highly developed IT hardware and software skills in particular extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, Workforce Australia Online, Job Ready and ESS
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal competencies
- An open driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Australia when required
