H-E Parts International Mining Solutions - Cooling Division is the leading independent manufacturer and supplier of high quality radiators and cooling solutions. With innovative products and reliable technology, we provide industrial radiator and heat exchange repair services to the mining, transport, construction, agricultural and general industry business sectors.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Trade Assistant to join our Forrestdale team, primarily undertaking duties involved with radiator fitting. In this permanent full-time role, you will be assisting Trades People to conduct repairs and installation of mechanical equipment and parts.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Leading Hand, your main responsibilities will include:

- Operate grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery as required, in a safe manner.
- Participate in maintenance, repairs, rebuild and bolt up of radiators.
- Assist with stripping, washing and testing radiators and cooling components.
- Preparation of radiator tubes prior to installation.
- Manual handling and use of overhead crane.
- Housekeeping duties to ensure safe operation of the work area.
- Additional duties can include painting, strip and assembly, pressure testing and soldering.

**About You**

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift and Dogging ideal
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop.
- Understanding of Safe Operating Procedures.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Ability to read instructions, memos, general correspondence and carry out instructions.
- Ability to work with or without supervision.
- Previous experience in mining or manufacturing industries preferred.
