**Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions**:

- Assemble, manufacture, test or tear down and rebuild artificial lift products according to specifications.
- Identify, report and problem solve issues arising with the design, or components by collowing the correct internal processes for reporting issues, faults or non-conformities.
- Actively participate and oversee the company’s continuous improvement cultutre by raising, actioning, and closing out CI’s or MOC’s that will improve efficiencies in the plant.
- Taking corrective actions as required to enhance productivity / efficiency or to minimis adverse impacts.
- Contribute towards the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniques to improve efficiencies and eliminate waste.
- Contributing towards quality control or manuals, procedures/work instructions, risk assessments or other documentation as required.
- Establish and maintain high staff morale, model sound leadership and teamwork.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement and encouraging team members to do the same.
- Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
- Other duties as required.

**Education, Licensing, and Certifications**:

- Required_

Qualification in engineering (mechanical) or equivalent
- Preferred_

Valid driver's license in state of residence.

Valid forklift license in state of residence.

**Facility Specific Additions to Education, Licensing, and Certifications**

**Experience**:

- Required_

Two or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Fully competent in all tasks and responsibilities that fall under the scope of supervision.
- Preferred_

Experience in the oil and gas industry.

Supervisory experience.

**Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge**:

- Required_
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical skills in the assembly of components with mechanical devices and tasks associated with these
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Employee is required to drive and walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
- Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20kg regularly.

**Work Environment**:

- Work will occur on the production floor or receiving warehouse with varying temperatures and high levels of noise; safety equipment such as glasses and protective shoes are required.
