We are on the look out for skilled and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to join our team. As a member of our Stakeholder and Engagement Team you will be responsible for provide high-level executive support to the Mayor of Glenorchy City and administrative assistance to Elected Members and the Office of the General Manager. The Executive Assistant assists in the delivery of Council meetings, events, and committees. You will also work with all areas of Council, external stakeholders, and the community on a range of projects every day.

**About you**:

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal effectively with difficult customers from time to time.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service and/or administration environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate confidently and sensitively with a broad range of people
- The ability to proofread complex documents and draft professional correspondence.
- High-level organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, multitask, and to problem solving techniques to make decisions.
- Understanding of and experience using social media platforms and other forms of engagement to communicate clearly and deliver key messages.

**Qualifications required**:

- Certificate IV in Business or equivalent qualification.

**Position Hours**:Fixed Term until 28 March 2025, Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight. Looking for part time or flexible options? Just ask

**Salary range**:$68,789.31 to $77,360.48 plus above award superannuation contribution
