C4I Solutions is actively seeking the services of an Integrated Logistics Support Manager / Training Lead to support The Armament, Life and Ground Support, C4ISREW, Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) Management Unit (MU) within Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB).
This role offers an initial 22-month opportunity, with 1 x 12-month extension option

**About the role**:
- The Armament, Life and Ground Support, C4ISREW, Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) Management Unit (MU) within Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) is currently delivering the Aviation Mission System (AMS). A small team of ATL contractors was engaged by the Multi-Role Helicopter Project Office (MRHPO) to design and deliver AMS based on a 2015 requirement to consolidate and remediate bespoke mission planning and management systems originally specified by legacy projects. Fixed site installations in Army Aviation (AAvn) Regiment and Brigade locations have been delivered and three releases are currently delivering major software upgrades, fixed site installation upgrades and deployable hardware. A final AMS acquisition release is in requirements definition phase which will satisfy the 2015 requirement in FY 23/24 and trigger transition to sustainment of AMS.
The AMS product is a combination of ICT and communications hardware and software, requiring highly technical and specialised personnel who can work harmoniously in a small team and collaboratively with a diverse range of AVNCOMD, CASG, CIOG, Land and Joint C4I and industry stakeholders to deliver sometimes-dynamic requirements.

**Role requirements**:
- ACTSS MU requires Aviation C4ISREW Management and Support Services team to complete acquisition of AMS and transition the ongoing support arrangements to sustainment processes. The scope of C4ISREW Management and Support Services includes the following resources:
One Integrated Logistic Support Management - Level 3 - Advanced Practitioner
The scope of work of the C4ISREW ILS Management and Training Lead - Level 3 - Advanced Practitioner includes, but is not limited to:
Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Management and Training Services associated with the analysis, definition, planning, acquisition, training, transition, in-service management, sustainment, asset management, and disposal of materiel systems.
Management of ILS and Training practitioners and services;
Researching and developing support and training development requirements;
Provide controlling and evaluating logistic support analysis;
Conduct managing logistics and training activities;
Conduct monitoring, controlling, and reviewing contractor deliverables;
Conduct development and updating of ILS and training documentation, including a range of technical management strategies and plans, logistics plans, training plans and instructions;
Conduct development of statements of work for ILS and training Programs;
Conduct tender evaluation and source selection; and
Provide advice / input into management and technical reviews and management and coordination of project ILS and training teams.

**Required Skills/Qualifications**:
- Significant knowledge and highly developed skills in use of MILIS.
Experience across Defence asset management lifecycle from procurement and inventory management to auditing and asset disposal.
Experience in a Fleet Support role.
Experience in Defence logistics.
