Lloyd Kennewell Racing is based at Cranbourne Training Complex racecourse and is a professional horse training establishment and fast becoming one of Australia’s leading horse trainers.

We are seeking an experienced Animal Attendant who is passionate about horses and racing and who understands practices around horse training routines, policies, schedules, and procedures.

Broadly your responsibilities will include:

- Grooming, clipping and bathing horses
- Fast Track Riding work with confidence riding to exact times
- Teaching and training horses and monitoring behavioural issues
- Daily care of horses
- Maintaining, cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing horse stables
- Preparing of horse feed and water
- Treat and clean minor and non-threatening injuries
- Administering medication as required
- Creating and journaling horses’ health records and report issues to the Horse Trainer/Veterinarian
- Relevant Certificate III qualification and no less than 3 years’ relevant experience within the horse racing industry

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
