This high-performing civil company is seen as an employer of choice in the market for good reason. They are seeking an experienced Leading Hand with a minimum of 3-5+ years experience in the civil sector with a key focus on road infrastructure projects. To support the delivery of road infrastructure projects across the Brisbane region, you will take ownership of the site to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality construction work.

**Experience & skills required**:

- **Road construction**_
- Earthworks, drainage, pavements, services,
- Sound understanding of road construction principles - including sequencing
- Layer works
- Basic understanding of pit and conduit electrical works - including footings - (managing subcontractor works)
- Basic understanding of traffic control - (Training available)
- Ability to form and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors when required
- Maintain a professional attitude and work within company policies and procedures
- **Stormwater**_
- Setup shoring boxes (if required)
- Monitor benches (if required)
- Setup up pipe laser
- Ability to set up rotating laser and basic level calculations
- Manhole construction including patching if required of chambers
- **Concrete works**_
- Sound understanding of concrete timing and finishing
- Ability to form up and pour hand-placed kerb
- Setup footpath, pour and finish
- Strip and saw cut joints
- **WHS + Environmental**_
- Ability to undertake and delegate company-provided compliance checklist - (training provide)
- Understand Safe Work Method Statement and work within the scopes of the SWMS.
