**This role is fixed duration **14-Month **contract for a **Maternity Cover.**

As Finance Business Partner, you will do the following:
**Planning & Forecasting**
- Drive local business plan & forecasting processes in line with corporate and local processes
- Support the monthly S&OP / demand planning exercise
- Challenge assumptions where necessary
- Completion of technical aspects of these processes together with a broad team including ESC (Elanco Shared Services), and IAC (Elanco’s India Alliance Center)

**Reporting & Analyses**
- Oversee/manage month-end closing processes (with support of IAC), including
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of expense accruals & provisions (e.g. PO accruals, bonus accruals, other PRE accruals, inventory provisions, bad debt provisions, etc.)
- Review/provide analyses and commentary for affiliate Trial Balance reviews
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting for the affiliate/cluster/area, and drive local governance process to review results with leadership
- Monitor operational execution of financial plan and initiatives
- Identify critical financial and non-financials (e.g. sell out data, market share, etc.) KPIs and leverage IAC to build and update compelling scoreboards
- Define/run local governance process to track and drive business decisions and results based on the scoreboards
- Develop business cases and provide recommendations on topics including
- Sales force optimization and effectiveness, including alternative channels
- Operational expenses investments and trade-offs based on ROI of Sales and Marketing initiatives
- Influence pricing decisions or rebate programs to maximize ROI

**Pricing & Order to Cash**
- Drive affiliate pricing governance process
- Support cluster CFO and leadership in defining and implementing pricing and G2N strategies
- Partner with IAC, supply chain and the business to drive on target forecast accuracy
- Royalties, Agrecovery reconciliation and billing
- Manage ad-hoc Transfer Pricing requirements

**“Business Integrator”**
- Partner with IAC for FP&A related deliverables
- Support local commercial projects focused on revenue and profitability improvements as primary financial business partner
- Own and manage the incentive program tool

**Support Accounting & Controlling Tasks**
- Any queries related to SAP access, reconciliations
- Drive internal controls and compliance as per company accounting policies
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Support month end, quarter end related activities. Raising of journal entries, as required.

- You’ll be based in Sydney, with up to 10% travel

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Finance or other relevant certification. CPA or CA is an added advantage.
- ** Min. 3 years of relevant work experience in Finance (business partnering, business planning or forecasting).**
- Strong English communication (spoken & written).
- Strong in Excel, analytical and system skills.
- Strong understanding of financial planning & reporting processes.
- Strong accounting foundations (US GAAP preferred).
- Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions informed by data and facts.
- Personal accountability and strong drive for execution.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
