**About the role**

Provide day to day caretaker, front of house, back of house hospitality, courier, technical services, and general operational and cleaning duties to support and facilitate the presentation and operation of multiple Council facilities, to a level of standard that is in line with relevant Council policies, procedures, and community expectation.

The role is responsible for the provision of a quality customer service and experience for all users of Council’s facilities.

The role is multisite, and your place of work can and will be anywhere within the Bayside LGA.

**About you**
- Provide a customer service focus for the operation of Council’s facilities.
- Actively engage with facility users to ensure Council’s facilities are serviced, set up, packed down, stocked, resourced, and prepared to meet the needs of all scheduled bookings and activities or reactive needs as they occur.
- Perform caretaker, front of house, back of house hospitality, technical services, and general operational and cleaning duties.
- Ensure Council’s facilities are presented and operated to a high standard, and that they are accessible, secure, clean, and safe for all users.
- Perform occasional courier and small bus driving services.
- Provide hospitality, sit down service and waitering duties.
- Operate plug ‘n’ play audio visual systems and technologies.

**We are looking for a someone who demonstrates**:

- Experience in hospitality or venue and facility management or a customer experience focused industry.
- Strong customer service and people skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- General ability to utilise Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or willingness to learn (training can be provided).
- General ability to utilise plug ‘n’ play audio visual systems and technologies or willingness to learn (training can be provided).
- General understanding and ability to interpret applicable policies, procedures, and instructions.
- General understanding of Work Health & Safety obligations in regard to the operations of facilities and venues.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check (or wiliness to obtain)
- Level of physical fitness to be able to carry out the requirements of the position, as determined by Council’s nominated medical practitioner.
