**About the Team**:
The Water Licensing Branch helps to preserve the sustainability of the state's water resources by administering water licensing in South Australia. The work we do is fundamental to the equitable distribution of water between consumptive users and underpins a significant contribution to the South Australian economy. The Branch is also responsible for maintaining South Australia's Water Register in accordance with the Landscape South Australia Act 2019. The water rights recorded in the Register are tradeable and our database team is dynamic, collegiate and growing.

**About the role**:
The Data Analyst will work with the Senior Data Analyst, Water Licensing to deliver data analysis, visualisation, ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) and reporting services to inform business decision making.

**Contract**:
Contract for up to 2 Years.

**Special Conditions**:

- A current National Police Clearance is essential.
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 $84,522 min - $94,003 max p.a.

- Databases utilised by the business are monitored and evaluated, and performance issues are identified, investigated and resolved, and associated changes are implemented in a timely manner with mínimal disruption to business.
- User enquiries and requests for information and problem resolution are responded to with timely, accurate and quality advice.
