Sales and Specification Consultant Vic/tas

The role of Sales and Specification Consultant is primarily responsible for the successful positioning of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems as the leading solution provider to the architectural and specification community.
- **Position ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems as the leader in specification writing in the entrance automation industry in Victoria**:
- Define, engage with and build relations with major local architects and specifiers in key segments
- Track and follow up major construction projects in key segments for pro-active targeting of key architects and specifiers
- Be the link between the sales force and architect activities. Support and mentor the sales team on how to pro-actively work with architects and specifiers
- Be the AAES Sustainability Champion for Green buildings
- Set-up a local activity plan for targeting and working with architects and specifiers in key segments and major projects, including:
- Regular visits and training to key architects, specifiers and major engineering companies
- Writing specifications to maximise our potential of securing orders during contracting phase
- Provide technical direction to architects ensuring that the right solution is specified
- Regularly inform local key architects and specifiers about offerings and tools in collaboration with marketing team
- Deliver seminars presenting entrance automation solutions and key benefits
- Make sure architect activities including BIM development become an integral part of sales processes and meetings
- Develop clear activity KPI’s, targets and BIM performance metrics to follow up the evolution of the number of written specifications and hit rates
- A minimum of 3-5** **years’ experience in the sales and specification industry
- Experience in the building materials, service and installation industry
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, Microsoft Office suite
- TSM an advantage
- Technical aptitude - understanding measurements, drawings, electro mechanical terms and functionalities
- Commercial and sales focused and energised by a dynamic and profitable growth environment
- Entrepreneurial minded and stimulated by driving change and changing the market
- Self-driven and can motivate people to challenge the status quo
- Sound technical understanding of the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems product portfolio
- A genuine ‘can do’ attitude and able to lead by example.
