**Overview**

Nomad Digital are currently recruiting for a QHSE Lead to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the hope to make this a permanent role longer term. This role will support our APAC region with all things Quality, Compliance, Health, Safety and Environment and is an exciting opportunity to begin a diverse and stimulating role.

The purpose of this role:

- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) that adheres to ISO 9001 (quality), 45001 (safety), 14001 (environment) on APAC region in line with global corporate guidelines and tools.
- Manage operationally the problem solving for quality issues appearing in revenue service related to externally purchased parts and equipment.
- Staying updated on best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to rolling stock quality and safety management and risk mitigation.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Put your expertise into action by developing, implementing, and maintaining a best practice integrated Quality Management System (QMS) and Risk Management Framework specifically tailored for our rolling stock division.
- Lead the Rolling Stock the risk management function by identifying and assessing risks associated with rolling stock quality, safety, environmental impact, and collaborating with teams to develop robust mitigation strategies.
- Improve and maintain the Quality and Safety Management System to comply with standards, certification and customer requirements.
- Be the guardian of compliance, ensuring that operations adhere to industry regulations, standards, and statutory requirements related to quality, safety, environmental impact within the region.
- Conduct thorough audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS and risk controls and identify opportunities for improvement, ultimately ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety in our operation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish and document quality control processes and procedures for excellence in the industry.
- Lead continuous improvement by monitoring quality data, analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and proactively identifying trends and areas where we can enhance our operations.
- Plan, schedule and conduct internal quality and safety audits and inspections for compliance and improvement purposes.
- Track and analyses non-conformance issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Lead problem investigations using Root Cause Analysis and quality tools including 8D, 5Why etc.
- Take relevant action on incidents or non-conformance, this includes containment, investigation, corrective action, alerts, lessons learned and reporting.
- Facilitate Training and Awareness on Quality and Safety scope over the APAC region.
- Provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders on Quality and Safety related topics based on standards, regulatory requirements, code of practices, guidelines, and technical requirements.
- Reporting to local management and corporate levels on Quality KPI, performance, trends and significant issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative approach to quality assurance.
- Commitment to Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements; and
- Any other duties directed by your manager.

**Experience & Qualifications Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Quality specialization).
- Certified Lead-auditor with experience ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
- RIW workers’ card
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a quality role.
- Proven experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards implementation and development.
- Experience in Railway safety management standards.
- Experience in in auditing and tracking non-conformance issues.
- Experience in Quality tools including 8D,5Why, FMECA.
- Experience in Supplier quality process e.g., FAI, ITPs, NCRs,
- Experience in developing VMCs (Visual Management centre) to report on progress and KPIs.
