The discipline of Computing and Security within the School of Science has the largest program of cyber security research and teaching in Australia; is one of only two federal government recognised Academic Centres of Cyber Security Excellence; is the only Australian university recognised as an International Cyber Security Centre of Excellence; and, is the home to the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (Cyber-CRC) with academic, government and industry partners attracting $139m of funding. With a record 17 years of five-star teaching excellence, ECU is committed to providing the highest quality educational experience for its students.
