A Food & Beverage Team Leader with the perfect mix of skills to make every guest experience truly memorable, whilst operating to InterContinental standards and procedures.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us
- Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests
- Owning your bar - managing stock, inventory and equipment as well as keeping the space cleaner than clean
- Assuming the responsibility of the bar whilst on shift, with the support of your Duty Manager
- Leading by example with the strict handling of cash and credit transactions and procedures
- Working closely with your kitchen colleagues to deliver a truly seamless food service
- Maintain and strive to deliver guest satisfaction results within the Food & Beverage Department

What We need from you:

- Demonstrated experience in a bar and/or hotel environment is essential
- Previous experience in leading a team is highly regarded
- Strong customer focus & excellent personal presentation
- The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg which can also involve bending and kneeling
- Flexibility - evenings, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job
- Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol - you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and have valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
