Bar Attendant

**About the role**:
Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking to expand our pool of Casual Bar Staff at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC).

The successful applicants will be switched on, competent, punctual, well-presented, and personable with great customer service skills and attitude demonstrating initiative, ability to work in a team as well as independently. A current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) is mandatory.

This position will be based at BMEC in William Street. BMEC operates at various hours, 7 days a week, including day and night. Interested applicants need to be available for various shifts each week. Flexibility and a can-do approach is key to being successful in this role.

**Key Requirements**:

- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (RSA)
- Previous bar/hospitality experience
- High level customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Money handling experience
- Ability to work flexible hours (including but not limited to nights, weekends, during school/university holidays and public holidays)

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.

**Hourly Rate**:$34.34 per hour + superannuation + penalty rates (if applicable)

**Position Status**:Casual

**Hours of work**:As required
