Our client is a leading civil construction firm working with high profile developers and builders across the construction and infrastructure industry

**About the role**

My client is looking for experienced, self motivated and driven civil supervisors to join their team. Working closely with construction and project managers across various sites, to deliver projects of $2-5M. As a key member of the team you will contribute to the continued improvement of processes and business objectives

Ideally you will have experience in remediation, demolition, bulk excavations, retention/shoring systems, subgrade and base-course preparation, and pavement placement.

**Key Responsibilities for the role**
- Proficient in supervising, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of multiple worksites
- Assist in the planning and staging of construction activities
- Track, schedule and forecast resource, plant, and material requirements
- Ensuring a safe workplace is maintained,
- Daily site construction management: induction, toolbox talks, access permits, task allocations, daily work progress reports, etc

**Skills & experience**
- A good team player with strong leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to manage change, motivate, negotiate and mediate with crews ensuring productivity is maximised
- Proven communication skills including verbal, written and with the ability to liaise at all levels with internal and external stakeholders and clients
- Prioritisation and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and delegate effectively
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Minimum 5 years civil construction experience, 2 years in a supervisory role.
