**About the role**:
As part of the team, your primary role will involve carrying out field servicing and repairs, representing the company to clients. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostics and troubleshooting on a diverse range of equipment. This engaging and challenging position offers ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. With the ability to work independently or as part of a team, you will communicate respectfully and honestly with customers. Your well-organised and self-motivated approach, combined with a commitment to strict adherence to safety standards, will contribute to the success of the operations across various locations in Newcastle.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Carry out on-site servicing and repairs in the field
- Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a professional and timely manner
- Write reports and keep daily records from the field
- Use computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues
- Be part of an alternating roster for weekend callouts
- Abide by all company and client HSE policies & procedures

**Our next Field Service Technician will have**:

- An appropriate trade qualification
- 2+ years' experience as a Field Service Technician or a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- An ability to obtain an HV truck and Forklift Licence
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently
