We are seeking a strategic Product Manager to join our valued, trusted and supportive team to represent, grow and develop our UD Trucks product range. As the product expert of our UD Trucks range you will partner with our Sales and Marketing teams to analyse segment opportunities and provide strategic and tactical guidance to increase market share, grow profitability and increase customer satisfaction.

**About the role**:

- In conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, develop the UD Trucks product range focusing on customer satisfaction, market share and profitable growth.
- Manage and co-ordinate Commercial Launch Projects for new products, and secure the engagement of key stakeholders including the local dealer product reference group.
- Chair the monthly Product Committee, ensuring meetings are well structured, attended, and relevant product range interests are represented.
- Plan, develop and publish product information updates to the commercial organisation via Product Hub.
- Provide product support to internal stakeholders for price positioning, cost analysis and packaging studies.
- In conjunction with internal trainers, plan, develop and conduct product training throughout the dealer network.
- Provide technical inputs for quotes, tenders, point of sale and marketing materials.

**About you**:

- Possess extensive knowledge of, or interest in, the Australian Transport Industry and have a general understanding of vehicle engineering and componentry.
- Have not only technical & product knowledge, but also the ability to understand and combine relevant commercials.
- Have broad work experience in a role where you can demonstrate experience preparing and presenting product information materials and are able to showcase your exceptional project management skills.
- Previous experience collaborating with global networks will be highly regarded, or an awareness or interest to learn about cultural differences and cross-cultural communications.
- Agile, with excellent business acumen and exceptional customer relationship and presentation skills.
- Enjoy a diverse working environment, that offers regular collaboration within a close team and independent / flexible working.
- Positive and curious, with the courage to navigate through complex issues for progressive business outcomes.
- Tertiary studies in business, marketing or engineering would be advantageous, but not essential.
